This is wonderful, especially if you have a metal surface nearby. I was painting in the dimly-lit laundry room. I could use the magnetic feet of this light to stick it to the side of the washer and shine it exactly where I needed the extra light.

I bought this Gorillatorch for my husband on a whim when it was on sale. We didn't really need it; we have a flashlight in each room because the power goes out a lot. I bought this light to use outdoors. It has exceeded my expectations. I took it caving not too long ago just to test it out. My headlamp which is a pretty good one was really not enough. I wrapped the legs of the Gorillatorch around my backpack strap and all of the sudden had more light than I knew what to do with. It is super bright and pure light.
