Light shining out of Darkness
simple poem about faith, hope, and providence and standards of Christianity - that everything will be O.K. because God is in charge
Cast Away
Cast Away ic compared with the speaker because the spearker plans on talking about his own wretchedness and inorder to depict just how wretched he is - he uses the image of the cast aaway - when he is done painting such a dismal image - he states that he is in a worse state
cast away has some hope of going to heaven - the speaker doesn't
