i think that the tyger is the best poem in blake's poems.tyger is represent the second side of the human,it shows the violence of the human being and as said , it is acounterpart of the lamp .

this is an ammazing poem, i thought that i should read it when i was listening to the radio, London's LBC 97.3 FM, Clive Ball was talking about it, Mon-Thur, 8:00pm-12:00pm. all this week is Iain Lee who is very funny. This poem signifies the darker side of creation. The poet is reflecting upon the magnificence of this creature and further more the supreme being that had the ability to create him. This poem was meant to contrast another of Blake's poems entitled "The Lamb". "The Lamb" symboloizes innocence where as "The Tyger" symbolizes experience.

it realy supprised me to see that no one has placed i comment on 'the tiger' the tiger is one of my very fav. poems. i fell like people can realy conect with him becuse of this poem. every one battels with religion. one of my fav. qoutes that he says is "did he who make the lamb make thee" that is a big statement on religion. somthin i battel with every day...ummm i would right more but im in a big hurry..any ways i love the way he lets out the mystic beauty of a supposed ferce animal.
