I THINK THE MAN WANTS THE GIRL TO BE WITH HIM AT THE FAST WAY HE WANTS.....

a beautiful work of art
i must
say
it brings me the love
i once hoped and prayed
this
i will keep
to bear in mind
and learn by heart
over and over
until i can say
i did love the poem
and i did my part.

When I read this poem I am reminded of Romeo and Juilet, a love that ends tragically. The deep desire, the passion to be together, yet something keeps this from occuring. His life is only complete with her touch and with that touch he knows the only thing left is heaven itself.
