I think this poem is very long. It is difficult to me to comment. I've read its Chinese translation, however,I still can not understand it. My teacher assigned this poem for my homework. How could I do it?

This was one of my favourite poems in my school syllabus...I found it extremely rhythmic..Shelly has used such words that even while reading the poem you feel the melody as if it were a song.
The poem is a masterpiece without any doubt...even if u read this poem on a hot sunny day, you will feel the rains falling on you...through his eyes you can see the cloud melt in rain, make puddles, evaporate, create a rainbow and "laugh at his own cenotaph" ...u can feel it arise and unbuild it again...MAGICAL !!!

i think this poem has alot of true meaning to it - it is definitely not an 'idiotic poem'. in a website i read, it said that this poem offers images of interdependence between human and non-human realms, of the cyclical and unalterable forces that link animate and inanimate nature. this is one of the reasons as to why i was attracted to this poem. Don't criticize poetry, admire it ~ J'net ^_^
