I really loved this poem of Pablo Neruda, the words that he uses in his poem I can really relate to now in the stage in my life that I am going through right now :)

Pablo Neruda loves to contradict himself in his poems. I absolutely love his style; his diction is so simple yet eloquent. He loves to write about the women in his life, and I think this one is making him crazy. It as if once he moves one she does something to make him fall for her again. It such a true to life experience that almost anyone can relate to.

i think in this poem what Pablo Neruda is trying to convey is the feeling of frustration of loving someone who does not love you in return

I am the object of her love and hate...I am an ever changing person who can doubt all and speak this doubt or show it in my behaviour, but her love finds it's way in me...and I love her beyond measure..

This is a poem that might seem confusing at first but I believe it is just like love, it can be at times contradicting, but in the long run later understood.
