This poem is what many of our young people are going through today. Love and hate at the same time .He expresses his feeling through writing it and this what I think of us should do instead of holding it in .Write a poem or a letter to exress yourself

This is such an exquisite poem. It's translated, and it still sounds so amazing! The power love holds over a person leads to hate. I see the thin line.

It's killing!! How helplessly we sometimes wish that we never loved someone so selfish and insensitive. We wish love to go away and it refuses to fade even by one shade. The agony is endless. There's a glass wall between love and hate.

It is often said that there is a thin line between love and hate. I think this poem also covers that idea. The ones we love may also be the ones who have the capacity to hurt us, yet we still find more reasons to love them at the end of the day. Love is the most ironic and confusing of all emotions. It requires us to be weak and strong at the same time, to give up and have more, to love because of and in spite of.

this is such a beautiful poem that never fails to bring tears to my eyes. to experience love is to understand Neruda's words, because love can be at most part be a contradiction. beautiful...beautiful...
