For those of us who have loved dogs and lost faithful companions to old age and death this poem rings true, it 'speaks to the heart of the heart' to quote Vicente Huidobro in "In", his poem. Thank you.

exuse me but is this poem a limerik a simile a meataphor a pesonification or alliterration poem cause im doing a project and im using this lovely poem i know just how he felt
