LoL .... beautiful ....
I believe this to be a tongue in cheek comment. ....
He is saying that he admires any one who can see the raw naked power of lightening, which shines bright for a millisecond and is gone, without comparing it to the life of man, who in the scheme of things shines bright for a second and is gone.
