John Keats - Give Me Women, Wine, and Snuff

GIVE me women, wine, and snuff
Untill I cry out "hold, enough!"
You may do so sans objection
Till the day of resurrection:
For, bless my beard, they aye shall be
My beloved Trinity.

I think Keats poem is sincere and honest(no beating around the bush) Are these not the essence of a mans life? in other words, a great sifnificance...all mixed
with religious seasoning....

A fan of Keats from Spain
