Gabriela Mistral - Pine Forest

Let us go now into the forest.
Trees will pass by your face,
and I will stop and offer you to them,
but they cannot bend down.
The night watches over its creatures,
except for the pine trees that never change:
the old wounded springs that spring
blessed gum, eternal afternoons.
If they could, the trees would lift you
and carry you from valley to valley,
and you would pass from arm to arm,
a child running
from father to father.

Poem: Pine Forest

Comment 1 of 1, added on May 10th, 2006 at 5:59 PM.

THE forest is our life cycle the phase and stages of our develpoment. The trees repsensents time; time will pass before our face, but it will not stop or be flexable.

There is a Creator that whatches over our lives, and creates the signs of the time.

If we could change time, we will go from place to place seaching for instant gratification.
