The true author of this poem is Dante Gabriel Rossetti, her brother. Some family feud this would make! Sarah from United States Comment 3 of 4, added on December 1st, 2005 at 6:13 PM. Silent Noon was NOT written by Christina Rossetti. It was written by her brother, Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
