Rating: - Dentat Mouth Guard
My dentist fee for a custom mouth guard is $500.00. I purchased this guard for $25.00 and have been very pleased with the fit. No problems sleeping at night. Would highly recommend this product.
Rating: - Excellent product and price
Considering my dentist wanted upwards to $600 for a guard, I'm quite happy with this guard. The larger guard molded perfect and fits fine. I purchased an extra one!
Rating: - saved me a lot of money
I had been grinding my teeth at night and dentist said I needed a night guard after looking at my teeth last checkup. I didn't want to spend over $300-insurance dosen't cover them, so I got this one after reading reviews. The smaller one is great for me and I did have to try 2 or 3 times to boil it and form it, but it's great now. My neck and face pain are much better now.
Rating: - questionable customer service
After a few tries to mold the mouth guard to fit, it got a couple of holes in the front. I contacted seller. The seller emailed me back - maybe after 2 weeks, saying he has been trying to get in touch with me because he did not get my address due to how Amazon's selling system works. I emailed him back, giving him my address again. He emailed me back and said the item (the small guard only) was in the mail.
After a couple of months, I received nothing.
I was grateful in the beginning that he said he tried multiple times to reach me by email (I actually only received one email). However, after I found out that nothing came in the mail, I am suspicious that if he sent any email at all before that. He may just sent an email later to say he responded after all. but where is the replacement part in the mail?
I was hopeful I may try the thing again - in the beginning I need more times to mold it, but if I get a replacement, I may need to try less and still work better. But I am now discouraged to try it again because what is happening.
Seller, I want to let you know customer service is important on Amazon to make money - I do understand that you want to save money though.
Rating: - Good over all, a little thick
I've tried using the guards that you can get at sports stores, but those were too big and I ended up spitting it out. I've also had the professionally done ones, but I chew through those in 3 months. This one was a little thick at first so I spit it out the first night. What had to be done was to reheat it and smear it over my teeth. After it cools, I cut off the extra bit. Its held up pretty well so far.
