Trigun - The Complete Boxed Set

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I love this series, I only wish they continued it.
Let me just start off by saying, they should continue this series.

I'm not a hardcore anime fan but I really enjoyed this series and it was a blast to watch. It was very light hearted at first bringing you into the universe of Trigun and then things go very serious with some really great philosiphies and outlooks as individuals, and as the human race as a whole. One of my favorite lines from the series I think was originaly said by Rem, but Vash used it as well; "The ticket to the future is always open."

The animation, voice acting, or music always seemed to be on par. It never seemed to take away from the experience and the soundtrack to this series was great in my opinion, I could only remeber one time the voice acting seemed a little sketchy.

All in all this series really brought me in and made me feel Vash's emotions. The experience as a whole was excellent. I even took away some different ways of thinking about problems and decsions we all make. If you spend any time with the series you will learn to always look for a better option to your problems, no matter how unlikely, and Vash's selfless acts were very moving making one of my first anime series a excellent experience. Five stars.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Classic . . .
A great series, despite starting a bit slow and having a sketchy ending. Definitely worth the coin.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Trigun - Limited Collector's Edition I (With Steel Case) (2003) WARNING!
This is episodes 1 through 14 ONLY!!! If you want the other half, you have to buy Trigun - Limited Collector's Edition II (With Steel Case) (2003) which be an aditional $500 (I assume edition II is 15 through 26 I cannot confirm anything!) I am very angry that episodes were not listed by Amazon.com before I purchased it. In their defense, it was a 3rd party that was selling it through Amazon.com.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not as good as the books
I used to love the Trigun anime series until I read Maximum manga. The differnce between the two are staggering. The Gung Ho Guns in Manga (some of them) were much more powerful than the one's in the series. Not to mention all of them weren't included. The series also makes Vash look like a wimp in the series. Compared to the mangas at least.

Granted, if seen seperately they are both good and books always have room for more story. But if I were to recommend one it'd be the manga series wins hands down.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - big bang for your buck
if you are looking for a space saver then get the tin. this one comes with each seperate dvd cases so it takes up a lot of space but the graphics are good and we all know the story is great!
