Rating: - I love this tape!!!
This is the best tape I have. It's really easy to follow and didn't frustrate me when I first started using it because the moves are pretty simple and I'm usually a klutz when I do aerobics at the gym! I like the interval training part of it because it gives you small "breaks" in between cardio sessions. I did this tape 5x a week and lost 2lbs a week with no real dieting, just watching what I eat using common sense and drinking lots of water. I lost about 30lbs total in the end. If you are a beginner like I was, I highly recommend this tape. When you get more confident you can add a step to your routine, more (hand)weight etc, so it will still be challenging. I wish Susan would make another video too!
Rating: - GREAT WORKOUT FOR BEGINNERS!!
I bought this tape just recently and have used it about 3 times now. This is a great tape!! I am a beginner in doing cardio workouts and I am not that coordinated especially with a step (which is recommended but not required for this video). Susan's moves are simple and to the point. She is so motivating and I also loved the fact that she keeps reminding you of how to do the exercises correctly and she shows you how to modify every step. I can see down the road this tape might get boring because of the basic moves, but it is effective and you really burn up a sweat!! I also like how the tape alternates from cardio to toning with the weights. I would recommend this tape to anyone who wants to get a great non-complicated all-around good workout. 2 thumbs up!!
Rating: - Powter is power for you!
Simple arm and leg moves plus Susan's you can do it, got this non-dancer off the couch! Able to establish a terrific rhythmn unable to get with dance oriented (very stressful to follow and too advanced) workouts.Nix to Fonda- Plus with Powter!

Excellent exercise tape. Keeps you motivated. Susan explains what is going on and keeps reminding you to go at your own pace. I use this tape often.

just FF through her chit-chat in the beginning and get to the workout (filmed in her own home). she starts off slow and then brings you to a good workout. she encourages you to modify the moves to fit your own fitness level. you change back and forth b/t aerobics on the step to "intervals" which are toning exercises for your arms and legs. she uses weights for the arms, but you don't have to. before you know it, you're finished with the aerobic portion of the tape and go on to a few crunches and stretching. the music is soft (not too loud) and kind of new-agey synthesizer. it gets annoying after a few views so i just turn the TV down now and put the radio on. i've nearly memorized the routine so it's a breeze. it feels like a quick workout. she also encourages you to mentally think about getting well. she's not as flamboyant in the video as she was on the talk shows which is nice. she still is susan, but it's toned down in the video. there are also 2 other people in the video (1 woman, sally, from "lean strong & healthy", and a young man, eric). it's nice that you don't have to look at susan the whole time. i did this tape 4Xs a week at first and dropped 10 lbs. easy!!!
