i just got this unit on 11/21/08, and i have to say it sounds really good. what surprises me is no bass and treble control, but the vocals are clear, the highs are good and the bass to me is improved from last years model with a bigger driver. if your leary about other reviews you read about lack of bass, trust me when i say it has very good bass, its well suited for medium rooms, but if you have a very large room, your bass could be weaker than in a medium room. it has a hdmi output for 1080p display, ... Tested this out at a customer's house. I work at a retail store, and did a delivery today, installing this in someone's home. After doing professional installation, we tried out a movie and music.

I do lots of reseach before I buy any eloctronic items. I generally read reviews of the items of interest before I buy them. I tried to find review of this item but could not find one!!
