Rating: - Great laundry soap for sensitive skin
I've had psoriasis for the last 20 years, and since switching over to Maggie's soap nuts I've noticed a definite improvement in my skin. Our clothes are just as clean and smell fresher than they did before. I had to play around a little to find the right number of nuts per load for our washers (4 nuts used twice works for me.) Two thumbs up for soap nuts.
Rating: - great little nuts
I was a skeptic that this would work, but did it ever! The one thing I'd warn is that you should avoid using bleach if you're using this. I had some weird smell in my laundry machine after accidentally tossing in some bleach. -_-; Anyways, great for allergies, the dog doesn't even seem to notice that it's been washed with other things. Rating: - A bit on the sticky side
I ordered a smaller quantity of soap nuts before and really liked them (they came in a box), so bought this larger bag since it was more cost effective. However, when they arrived, they are extremely sticky and have a much more pungent odor then the previous box of soap nuts. They seem to work fine, but just are a little more messy then I would have liked.
Rating: - The best ever laundry soap, bar none!
This stuff works, and it works well. Best results are obtained with warm or hot washes in a front loader machine, however if you need to wash delicate's or wish to use a cold wash, then why not make a "tea" from the soap nuts, either boil a couple of them in a pot or let them steep in some boiling water, then add the cold "tea" to the machine and wash as usual. You'll love the results; clean, fresh, soft, non-irritating and static free, good for people, good for pets and good for the environment. ... Read More
Rating: - These are Great.
My daughter sent me a link to these once, and I decided to try them though they seemed rather odd. (which is why she sent me the link). I love them and have been using them every since.
I can smell *no* aroma from them on the clothes, so when I want to I add essential oils to the water (just a drop does it), and I can have clothes that smell of peppermint, or what ever aroma I want at the time.
They are very easy to use, I think even easier than measuring out liquid or powder detergent ... Read More
