I am told, it works wonderful and it was a pleasure to have it already seasoned. Rating: - Cast Iron Oval Cooker Nicely finished product at a fair price but the the lid did not fit properly on the lower pan. It was warped and would let the steam and juices escape defeating the purpose for cast iron cooking. If that wasn't bad enough, the lid had such a poor fit that it could easily be bumped off the lower pan while moving it from the oven.
