Or we haven't. I think it's a little big for a 5-6 year old and doesn't really adjust to fit as well as I would like it to (we had a problem with it this past weekend slipping to the side and not being able to make it tight enough)....better for the 7 and up, i would think. It sturdy and very cushioned. Rating: - good stuff Unlike some other ear guards, like the old clam shells, that basically just press against your ear to immobilize it; these ear guards have a little pocket for your ear to go into and roam freely. This makes it much more comfortable. The picture makes it look like they may be a little too thick and interfere with squeezing your head through tight places, but I've found them to be no worse than any other ear guards in that respect.
