A great sound system having dual hdmi inputs. I was worried about the dvd player being able to play my movie dvd backups which I have recorded on DvD+R media, but they play beautifully. The sound is great. Set up is direct and fairly easy, although due to the many features, figuring out all the ins and outs of the receiver takes a little work but this is true of any system of this nature you would buy. After many months of searching online and in local stores I found this Home Theater In A Box system from Yahama and I really like it. I have it running my sound for my PS3 and my sharp aquos 46" lcd screen. It has 2 hdmi inputs and 1 output which is how i play games/watch movies with my PS3. It is not a passthrough. Great product for the price. I did the super saver shipping which took about a week longer that regular shipping but was free so it's worth it if you aren't in a hurry. The set up was very easy compared to other systems I've tried. I'm very happy with the sound. I tried the Phillips 2-channel sound bar prior to buying this and there is no comparison.
