This is the second of this product we've purchased to use as secondary television/dvr in our bedroom in two different houses. They are compact, useful and inexpensive. The low volume doesn't matter in a bedroom, and we have the set close to the bed anyway because the set is not large. I watch a number of dvd's while my husband watches "the game" on the bigger set in the living room.
Rating:  - I am extremely disappointed
I was very upset when I purchased this item, only to see the price drop in the next few days. I called to claim my price protection, and was told that Amazon didn't do that any more. I was told that I could return it, get a full refund and repurchase it. That is ridiculous! It causes me a bunch of work and you money.

Received this tv in good condition yesterday. It was ordered on the 15th and arrived on the 19th. Set-up was easy. The picture is brilliant. I had been using an over-the-air analog tv in the kitchen and bought this as a replacement. The digital OTA channels are fantastic and come in great even though I am about 60 miles from most stations. This is my second Toshiba LCD and I am very satisified with the product.

Rating: - Toshiba killed Santa for my kid
We bought a TV/DVD combo from Toshiba as a gift from Santa last year for my 8-year old so that she could watch her Full House and Lizzie McGuire movies on it in her bedroom. Unfortunately, after 4 months, the tv's picture stopped working. She told me to send it back to Santa, so off it went to our local authorized Toshiba repairman, as you cannot return these items to Amazon after a certain period of time.
