No other 50" TV can fit into a space that narrow. Price, picture, controls, lack of sports motion blur, light weight, energy savings, deep blacks, etc. are all as good as it gets. I am not worried about the bulb blowing after warranty. I've seen them online for $120 delivered and changing them is explained in the manual.
