Love, love, love Sarah! Thought I'd get tired of this CD after the first month I had it and play it every minute of the day, but I haven't!! Catchy lyrics with real emotions. Love her!

With its incessant piano hook and heart-felt lyrics, "Love Song" caught my attention immediately as one of the most impressive debut singles I've heard on pop radio. This is the debut(?) CD for a gifted young chanteuse. The songs are well-crafted, original, and bouncy. Two have received national airplay...'Love Song' and 'Many the Miles'. Her voice is bright and crystal clear - and she employs it with complete control, no "Mariah Carey"ing on here! The melodies are infectious and the arrangements are sparse enough to allow the vocals and piano shine through. This is an impressive first effort from a fresh young talent. Rating: - One of the Best Albums of 2008
I had already decided to adopt Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" as the best album for the year of 2008, but then I got introduced to a song called "Gravity."
I couldn't rest until I got my hands on this album, and from start to finish Bareilles is simply superb. Every arrangement is touching, and her soulful, melodic voice gives me chills. I've been carrying it around in my mp3 player, and for the exception of one song, I've rated the entire album with four, five stars all throughout.

We recently saw her in concert with Maroon Five and Counting Crows. She was amazing so we ordered the CD. Sara Bareilles is a major talent.
