I had no problems with the installation of this product and it worked the first time I used it. I am pleased with the quality and ease of use.
Rating: - Pretty decent, good for SLIDES, not good for medium fmt or 4x5s
Does a great job on slides, but be advised, the backlight is a thin strip down the middle of the scanning area, and the preview will only show you this area for selecting the full scan-- and it's not quite wide enough for medium format. If you don't mind cropping your medium format negs a bit it'll do fine, otherwise you'll have to stitch multiple scans together as you can get as tall as you want but it'll only be about 2" wide max. So with some fiddling you may be able to get what you want out ... Read More

My HP scanner recently failed after years of constant use and I had to find a quick replacement. I purchased the Epson V200 Perfection scanner after doing a little research on the internet. The scanner and it's software was easily installed, I didn't read anything on how to use it...it was pretty self explanatory for me since I've used many different scanners in the past.
