It is cheap, heavy, fragle stoneware! I can find nowhere that amazon tells the customer this. They compliment any contemporary dinnerware. Rating: - Great little dishes I bought these to match the Simple Lines dishes that I have, but they would really work with any simple dishes. I got them mainly for giving my kids maple syrup to dip, but I have ended up using them for many other things. They are a little bigger and deeper than my ramekin dishes so they hold a little more.
