I've tried just about all of the Aveda shampoos and conditioners, and this is my favorite. It lathers better than any of the Aveda shampoos (without containing the odious SLS), and it feels great going on. The much mentioned scalp-tingle is probably the best part of the experience, but this smells FANTASTIC: like rosemary and peppermint. (Not sweet, just herbal). This is a very high quality shampoo, and in this large size, the bottle lasts forever!

I bought this shampoo and conditioner because I wanted a natural product. I used it for one week and it completely dried out my hair. I normally have very shiny healthy hair that is not treated in any way and I use no product on it at all. It's been a month since I stopped using it and my hair still hasn't recovered completely.
Rating: - Good smelling, tingly shampoo
I discovered this shampoo via a motel sample. I liked the combination rosemary and mint scents and the feel of the mint oil (peppermint?) on my scalp. The shampoo cleans well and washes out easily. The combination of good functionality and pleasant sensory effects caused me to buy the larger bottle for home use. I'm still happy with my buy.

I also have the Aveda Bodywash. This Rosemary/Mint combination stimulates your head as it washes, making it feel really clean and the smell is great. Expensive, but you don't need much.
