the handle on my lid broke.also the handles on the crock are cracked has
never been carried.trying to find a number for rival to order parts.
all i have found is site after site with people complaing about the same
problem
has the lid been recalled.
Rating: - Poor Quality
This is a beautiful crock pot. Unfortunately, it is not good quality. The hinge broke off almost immediately but I lived with it. Then the ceramic insert cracked. I thought it was something I had done but then when I went to replace it I found 27 reviews where the ceramic insert cracked. This is a defective product. I am not sure why they still sell it.

WARNING TO ANYONE ABOUT TO BUY A RIVAL SLOW COOKER WITH A PLASTIC HINGE OR HANDLE ATTACHED TO A GLASS LID: My slow cooker was 18 months old when the following happened. The plastic hinge cracked apart where it attaches to the glass lid and is now unusable. There are two bare screws sticking out of the glass lid. On the whole this is a good product. My only problem with it is that the hinge broke within three months of purchase.

This pot ain't no crock. It's awesome. Looks great, cooks great and big enough to cook for the whole week and the food is awesome. YUM!
