Brown turkey sausages or prepare golden slices of French toast in this 11-inch round grill pan from Rachael Ray. For burner-to-oven-to table use, the deep pan features a grooved cooking surface that replicates coveted grill stripes on those sausage links. The grooves also facilitate easier burger flipping while run-off juices collect in the recesses between ridges. Two side depressions in the pan's perimeter enable neat pouring.
The pan's cast-iron construction provides excellent heat distribution and retention, while deflecting dents and breakage for decades. The porcelain-enameled coating eliminates the need to pre-seasoning the pan interior. A cast-iron 7-inch handle helps chefs transport the pan from the burner to the table. This is a nice pan that looks great. Its heavy and holds heat evenly. Clean up is harder then non-stick pans but a lot easier then normal cast iron pans.

Very pleased with the round RR Grill Pan. It's really not that heavy and it cleans up great. I've only used it a couple of times and each time I had no trouble with the food sticking. I had my eye on her other grill pan that is longer but the only upside to that one is that you would be able to cook more food at once, which I am okay for saving $80 and cooking in batches if need be. This pan is tooooo heavy to safely lift. Hate it, wish i had returned it.

Only note.. Make sure pan is hot before using.. otherwise everything sticks bad. other then that, it is not a bad pan.
Rating: - RRay 11" Cast-Iron Fry Pan
This pan does all it's expected to do. Unfortunately, the wife feels it's too heavy - especially when compared with her "existing" cast-iron fry pan. I recall the UPS shipping site showed the shipped weight as 11 Lbs.
