These pots are idiot proof for rice. Put in equal amounts of rice and water in the top, water in the bottom and let cook for 25 minutes. Perfect rice; 2 hours later it's still perfect rice. PL Rating: - Great rice steamer! I have been using a rice steamer (CIRCA 1950 OR BEFORE)which belonged to my mother-in-law for most of my married life (33 years). Over the years the insert pot had become worn and developed pin-size holes in it and the grip on top had to be replaced, but I loved it!
