Rating:  - Liz does NOT sing in Gaelic
...nor has she, ever. Just to clarify things: It doesn't matter if you're a "highland Scot"; you still won't be able to decipher most of what's being said here. And, they do not sound like the Verve. Nor do these songs sound like advertisments. 1/2 the songs on this CD are amongst their best ever.
Rating:  - Too sugary
Released in 1996 this is Cocteau's nineth (depending on how you count the compilations) and final CD (depending on if you count the more compilations and live CD's). It is 42 minutes long and the sound quality is very good.
To me, this is the kind of CD that you can play in the background and it sets a nice atmosphere. But, if you listen closely it gets tedious, sugary and popish. Everyone has their own tastes and some people like the sugary pop sound more than the group's more spacy ... Read More
