The Intermatic magnetic trip wireless alarm provides safety, security and convenience. Mounted with double-sided tape to a door or window frame, the alarm sounds a piercing 90 dB siren when the magnetic contact separates. When the code is entered on the on/off switch, the alarm is activated/deactivated. This switch operates on and includes three replaceable 1.5-volt button batteries. This ivory security system comes with a 6-year limited warranty.

Installed quickly on patio sliding door. Alarm is loud enough to be heard from back bedroom

I purchased these alarms to put on some windows in our walkout basement. The alarms are not real loud, but loud enough to be heard upstairs. The dogs definitely heard them and raised a ruckus because they hurt their ears. Easy to install and inexpensive.

Good Alarm System. Needs three tiny little batteries. Does not require to screw on the walls. Simple to install. Have fun.

This product, in theory is a wonderful idea. However, the double sided tape fails miserably to hold the two sides of the alarm to the window/door surface. Indoor house temperatures were normal, no severe cold, heat, or humidity. But upon returning home the first day, one alarm had fallen and rung to the point of a dead battery. Rating: - Fell Off Window Within A Week
I thought this was a nice, inexpensive window alarm. If someone jimmy opens the windows and slides it up, a pretty loud alarm would sound. Effective enough for what I needed in this application.
The two components stick onto the window with a sticky pad attached to each comonent. I attached these to a plastic double-hung window as well as to a patio door.
