Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Excellent "Mic-less" headset. The headset that comes with the Midland GXT900VP4 is junk. This is the best ear piece with built-in microphone we have found. Still, the transmissions are not as strong as with the external microphones, or with no headset at all. Rating: - OK Looks and feels okay, but it is hard to hear someone talking from this unit. You need to get close to the mic and talk pretty loud to be heard. If you need to speak softly you can't use this unit. Also interference/loud alerts can hurt your ear. But if you don't want people to know you have a radio on this is the way to go. But it's not perfect.
