I was unfamiliar with Peter Nashel until this score and now I am searching for more of his work. If you like Thomas Newman, Mychael Danna and Phillp Glass (film works) you will enjoy this one. Nice textures with touching melodic interludes. Nice use of harp piano and strings with creative supporting percussion.

Bee Season is a score that is remarkably relaxing. It's one of those scores that you just listen to on your portable CD player in your car, as your taking a long drive. It's so peaceful. The score is filled with fast paced strings that give it a fair beat. Piano mixes in with the strings to give it a pretty good sound. Ivy's "I'll be near you" is a wonderful slow song, that has beautiful lyrics and suddenly relaxes you. The music fits perfectly with the scene in the movie that its in. Don't miss ... Read More
