I too was in love with this powder until I read the box. It contains several parabens which are compounds widely used in many cosmetic lines. It's a cheap preservative to preserve the products shelf life. Parabens are absorbed through your skin in lotions, powders etc. They have been known to mimick an estogen like effect in your body which plays havick on your endocrine levels which regulate your hormones & thyroid. I have been using this powder for about 5 years. It is amazing. I have problems with red cheeks and breakouts. Once I put on my concealer and foundation, I put on this powder and it is truly what makes my imperfections disappear. It even comes with the perfect application brush. This powder is worth every penny because it does what a powder should do!
