Rating: - Connected Apple TV to DVI monitor
Does exactly what I needed, to connect my Apple TV to an LCD monitor that only has VGA and DVI connections. Picture is perfect, but as others have noted, you'll need to run separate audio as DVI only carries video. Great value for the price and with Prime got super fast delivery.

Rating: - Why Pay More?
I purchased a Sony upconvert DVD player and needed a HDMI-DVI cable and I didn't want to pay more for the cable that the DVD player. This cable works great, no problems. I've had it for a few months and haven't had any issues with the video transfer, clear and smooth. HDMI doesn't stand for High Dollar Multimedia Interface does it? Why pay more, get this cable!

I was considering buying a much more bulky and fancy cord than this one until I found this cord while searching through google. I decided to give it a shot since I wasn't out much money if it turned out to be a bad cord. I can't describe how happy I was that I made that decision because it has worked like a dream since I've gotten it. For the price you pay the cable is good. However, DO NOT expect this cable to give you the same quality as a straight HDMI cable will. When I hook my xbox up to my computer monitor it looks good don't get me wrong, but it's nowhere near the quality of hooking my xbox up to my TV through HDMI. You will lose virtually all the lighting details that the great games have now a days, and the picture won't be quite as clear.
