I have a jar of the VT jalapeno flakes and a jar of the chipotle flakes. I give the chipotles a slightly higher grade, but they are both excellent. The chipotles have a strong smokey flavor. The jalapenos are probably a little spicier and have a milder flavor. But you can't go wrong either way.

It is hot and a yummy addition to any dish that calls for hot pepper flakes. It is so good. Only rated a 4 because of price, but a little does go a long way. Put in jarred or homeade salsa, spagetti w/ pesto, cheese dip, guacamole. Lots more uses I am sure
