Invicta's Pro Diver automatic watch (model 9094) is perfect for the serious diver who also wants to turn heads with a stylish watch. This precise timepiece features a solid silver stainless steel case that measures 40mm (1.57 inches) wide, with a blue unidirectional rotating bezel with silver markings and coin-edged, scalloped highlights. It has a deep blue dial background with luminous Tritnite hands (with seconds hand) and dotted luminous dial markers with small minute indexes. The silver stainless steel bracelet band mixes brushed and polished links and is joined by a diver's buckle and safety clasp. Other features include date function at 3 o'clock and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet).
An automatic watch is a mechanical watch that is self-winding. the movement of your wrist and body causes the rotor--a weight attached to an automatic winding mechanism--to wind up the watch. This automatic watch has 21 jewels, which are ruby stones that the gears turn on to protect the metal parts from grinding together. An automatic watch needs no battery, but it will stop if now worn for over a day or if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time. If this happens, wind the crown ten times clockwise to start the watch and five it some reserve power.
Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

Rating:  - nice but not perfect
This watch is very nice looking and has a solid feel to it. So far its keeping very accurate time. It is a bit chunky so if you have overly small wrists it may be a little bit big but I have smaller wrists (6.75 inches) and I can get by wearing it. Three negatives, it is a hair puller and the edges could be a bit smoother and the clasp is impossible to open for me unless I use something sharp to POP it open. Rating: - Great watch --with caveats
A very nice watch; however, I must mention a couple of issues:
1) The "Invicta blue" is somewhat purple-ish as others have mentioned. Specifically, in fluorescent light it looks blue, in sunlight it's blue with a hint of purple --but in warm incandescent light it's distinctly purple, especially on the dial. If this bothers you, then you might want to try the black face (8926) instead; no surprises there.

This is one of the best watches you can buy at this pricepoint. The materials that make up this watch are high grade, and durable. This watch has a classic look to it, it is great as a casual watch, a watch to wear to work or for a night on the town.I highly reccomend this timepiece prior to this purchase I thought that Invictas were cheap look alike watches but my perception has been quickly changed. Rating: - Don't see how they do it
I've had this watch for about a month and am amazed at the quality-for-price. I gave my 30-year old Rolex Explorer to my son as a present.
I bought this watch because I really miss the Rolex and the Invicta looks a lot like it.
I don't see how they can make a watch this good and sell it at that price. It's got the weight, looks and accuracy of a much more expensive watch. If it doesn't last 30 years, you can buy 20 or 30 of them for about the price of a prestige brand. It's a good-looking ... Read More
