Editorial Review:

Description:
Experience again Basil Fawlty, the sharp-tongued, short-tempered owner of Fawlty Towers, and the quiet humor of Lionel Hardcastle (As Time Goes By), the once dashing young Army officer. Remember Father Dougal (Father Ted), the priest oblivious to anything outside of his always-sunny world; a character that Ardal O'Hanlon modeled after a dog. And who can forget the two words from Mr. Humphries (Are You Being Served) that can always make you smile, 'I'm free!' Revisit these and many more of your favorite characters. Join host Lenny Henry (Chef!) in honoring the careers and contributions of Britain's funniest blokes with clips of their funniest moments and new interviews.

DVD Features:
Biographies
Interviews:Extended interviews with Ardal O'Hanlon (Father Ted), Geoffrey Palmer (As Time Goes By) and Richard Briers (Good Neighbors)

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - I was tricked by this one
The DVD is just a presentation where a speaker talks about different shows of the British Comedy. I was expecting to see a presentation and then the complete shows, but instead they are just small parts (a few seconds) of the mentioned shows.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great special
I watched this when it was on PBS a few months back, in fact, during the show I whipped out my laptop and went to Amazon to search for it. It wasn't there, but I'm so glad BBC decided to release it. Hosted by Lenny Henry, it highlights the best of all my favorite British comedy actors, including John Cleese, Richard Briers, and John Inman. Great purchase, well worth it, will have you remembering all those great moments watching britcoms.
