It is hard to find an open-stock 2-quart saucepan. We were looking for a couple of simple pans to supplement the complete ScanPan set we already had. These are economical and sturdily made. They are perfect for preparing a rice dish or heating up a can of soup or some spaghetti sauce when the mid-size pan in your set is already in use or hasn't been cleaned from the last meal.

Excellent saucepan! Cooks great and cleans up easy! The strainer in the lid is very convenient and works well!

This is not a 2 quart sauce pan, it is 2.5 quarts, exactly the same as the one that comes with the set

I purchased this saucepan to replace a pan that I really liked and hated to have to throw away. The quality of this pan far exceeds the pan being replaced, so I have a new favorite saucepan. I would highly recommend this saucepan to anyone looking for a good quality, multi-purpose pan.
