Rating: - Great solution for an older printer At first, I was looking at a docking station for my new laptop with Vista but they were very expensive and the reviews were mediocre. My HP Laserjet 1100 was the only peripheral that used a 36p parallel port to a 25p serial port on the computer so the cheapest and easiest solution was to get an adapter that goes from a 36p male parallel to a USB port.
