Rating: - An excellent slow-cooker I needed a counter-top friendly utensil, and the usual 4 quart-sized versions were unnecessarily large for most of my needs. This version works perfectly and has three useful settings: "high" heats quickly (to just under boiling, and MUCH faster than my large unit); the medium setting works well for all-day or over-night recipes, and the "keep warm" setting does just that. Read More Rating: - Good Size for Singles & Couples This is a good size when you only need to make 2-3 servings of a dish. I use this most often for steel cut oatmeal in the mornings, but also use it for side dishes and smaller meals, or when my 6 quart crockpot is simply too big. I went with this one over the "little dipper" they sell specifically because the crock is removable. It fits pretty well in the dishwasher, which makes for easy cleanup.
