Product Description:
A Christian journal, conservative in doctrine and eclectic in content with editors and readers from each of the three divisions of Christendom - Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox. Provides a place where Christians of various backgrounds can speak to one another on the basis of shared beliefs.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My Favorite Christian Cultural Magazine
More erudite and orthodox than Christianity Today, but not as impenetrably cerebral as First Things. I have subscribed to numerous Christian-themed publications over the year, and Touchstone is my favorite to date. It covers topics in literature, religion, science, art, music, politics, and culture from an orthodox Christian point of view. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An open Conservative Christian discussion
From the first issue this is a conservative magazine that presents historical biblical principles from Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant perspectives and applies them to our world today. The magazine contributors are varied and theologically deep.

Touchstone features articles, editorials, book reviews and other material from the perspective of Protestant (both mainline and evangelical), Catholic and Orthodox Christians who hold to traditional, orthodox understandings of Christian morality. It tackles the tough issues of our time both in scholarly articles and practical advice for parents who must raise children to be faithful in a post-Christian culture. While it does not seek a false ecumenicalism which demands unity at all cost (see the July/August ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A true touchstone for the heart and mind
Touchstone is one of the better magazines/journals to discuss and debate the meaning of the mind and heart in the contemporary world by standing on the shoulders of those who have struggled with this perennial question in the past. The editors, numerous in number, are Orthodox, Roman, and Protestant Christians who take seriously the creeds and scriptures of the Church. In other words, they realize that Tradition is the glue that holds the Church together, and by extension, sanitizes and sanctifies culture.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Presents The Three Branches of Christianity
This is a conservative magazine from the perspective of protestism, catholicism, and eastern orthodoxy. The perspective is based on the Bible and Early Church Councils. This is a good magazine, I recommend it.
