I purchased this dvd as a gift to my grandaughter. It's a pleasure that this was available and that children are choosing to watch it after reading the book. Great gift

This is probably the best season, I've seen most of these episodes at least 20 times.. and some of them still get to me...so 5 stars for this season.
But the DVD quality is ridiculously bad. Pretty sure it's this one or season 2, where the trivia at the end doesn't even have the right answers. On top of that the dvd menu plays a horrible loop of the theme song, so you can't leave it sitting on the menu for too long without actually going insane.

My 9 year old grandaughter is fascinated by these very well done episodes. She is enjoying them and learning at the same time.
Rating: - Beneficial childhood recollections
The series Little House on the Prairie has beneficial childhood recollections about the episodes and others that would discuss the shows as we were younger. This is the reason for sending this item as a gift to our children. Have not heard any negative comments concerning this item, just positive. Thanks and God Bless.
