I am extremely pleased with these products. I purchased this set primarily for the popcorn popper and the omelet pan although I have used the bacon/meat rack as well.
The popcorn popper works great. I just put in the popcorn, let it pop and use a butter spray later to give the popcorn a buttery flavor. The instructions suggest not using any oil (it may stain the popper) but I called Nordic Ware and was told a little would be okay.

Rating: - Essential microwave cookware.
If you actually use the microwave to cook, rather then just warm things up and make popcorn, I strongly recommend you get some microwave cookware. This is a convenient way to obtain some of the most commonly used cookware all in one package. At the very least get a microwave steamer, they are great for steaming vegatables quickly. This package includes one.

The splatter cover is alot shallower than I expected, it would not cover my big bowls completely.
Maybe I just have bad luck, the set I received come quite dirty, many pieces have scratches on them already. The popcorn bowl has big and small cracks all over. But since I don't eat popcorn it's a piece I don't need, so I didn't bother to get a replacement. Did try to call the manufacturers though, but I guess they are a east coast company, no one answered the phone during my off-work ... Read More

Really good microwave cookware - bought a second set to give as a gift and a third set to keep for myself if the first set ever breaks - 2 years first set is still going strong.
