Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Revere, 2 QT Stainless Steel Covered Saucepan, Copper Clad Bottom.

Amazon.com Review:
Classically straight-sided, this 2-quart saucepan is perfect for making sauces, heating soups, and preparing countless other foods. The phenolic handles and knob are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, so the pan can be used to braise or warm foods in the oven under its tight-fitting lid. Revere's Copper Clad cookware is made of handsome, mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel. Copper is cookware's best heat conductor, and each pot or pan has a copper-clad bottom that spreads heat quickly and evenly. The pan has a loop on its handle for hanging on a hook or peg, carries a 25-year warranty against defects, and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Agree Not Quite What They Used to Be
This pot is now made in Indonesia. I have an older, much used version and can compare this pot to it. The old one is of higher quality - better fit and finish and of a heavier build.

But RevereWare is still worth getting for every day and I don't regret the purchase although I do regret it is not quite the pot of yesteryear.

The acid test for me on this new pot will be when I burn it as I inevitable have done with all the others I have owned (from popping popcorn, to cooking ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best Pot Ever
I have been looking for this pot to complete my set. I looked at all the stores. I should have tried Amazon first. Learned a lesson there. I love Revere cooking pots. They cook evenly, are easy to clean and very sanitary. I don't like pots that have the handles screwed on through the pot. It seems like a good place for germs to hide. I have had Revere pots for many years and never had a handle come off.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best pot ever made
I've been using Revere pots for over nine years now .I've looked around at all the fancy stores and sites and I still can't fine a better cooking pot .These pots last and cook even .They clean up like new .I had to get another one only because me and my girl broke up .She got to keep the pots .

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - NOT Revere ware
I was happy to find this item for sale, but it is of such poor quality that I am returning it. The bottom is so thin that the stamp shows through to the inside, and it is also raised to the touch. You can pop the bottom in and out with very little pressure. It looks much like the one I bought in the 1990s, but the quality is very inferior. I feel that the claim of "even heat distribution" is false. Disappointing for Corning.

All the good reviews seem to be from 2005 and earlier.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - A BIG disappointment
I fondly remember growing up with Revere cookware during the '50s and '60s. It was sturdy and manufactured with care to precise measurements. Unfortunately, this is NOT the same product. Apparently, Revere cookware is now being manufactured in some third-world dumpster. The overall construction is flimsy; it bends and dents easily. None of the lids fit properly. The unreasonably thin "copper-cladding" was unevenly applied and looks like a roller-coaster ride around the sides of the saucepans. Revere ... Read More
