Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - so bad
This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I paid 4 dollars for a used copy, and I think I overpaid by about 10 dollars. I feel that the makers of this movie owe me 6 dollars for wasting my time. I will never get those two hours I spent watching this movie back. The acting was terrible, the effects were terrible, the movie was terrible. I usually like stupid teen movies, but this one was too much even for me. It was a waste of time and money. DO NOT buy this movie; if you do, believe ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This is So Lame!
one of the characters says in the movie, "This is so lame, let's leave". Should be a clue to anyone who stuck around that long in the theater that it's time to ditch the movie. The jokes and dialog are half rate and so obvious that originality of any kind flew out the window. I suppose that if I were 13, I'd get some sort of kick out of it, but these days, I wait for a movie like this one to make it to DVD and rent one and get this one free for five nights. Thank goodness I didn't pay to rent this ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Has its moments, but they're too few and far between
Shriek if You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th has its moments, but by and large this spoofalicious film is exceedingly average in terms of the laughs it manages to induce. Still, you have to appreciate the effort that went into it, as SIYKWIDLFT sinks its parody hooks into a vast number of genres: teen slashers, teen comedies, teen TV dramas, Baywatch, TV commercials, and more. If you go to IMDB, you'll find a listing of movies referenced here - although even this long list cannot possibly be complete. ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Before the "Scary Movie" Franchise...there was this...
This film pioneered the spoofing of horror movies before the "Scary Movie" franchise took over with a bigger budget and better writing.

Admittedly, this film is not as good at creating a parody of the horror film genre, but I'm not entirely sure it was trying to. It is very entertaining in it's own way, but it obviously has a smaller budget and less-than-perfect writers (I'm redundant, I know).

On the plus side, this film does make fun of a lot of things that the "Scary Movie" franchise ... Read More
