This advanced course provides a sensible path to speaking good Spanish. It comes with precise details of grammar and vocabulary, but also allows you to tailor the course to your own needs. Possessing some of the most recent developments in software technology, the course really does allow you to practice speaking and listening to conversations as if you were in Spain. This is absolutely essential: the harsh accent of Castilian Spanish can be a shock to those who have only read through examples on the page.

I found this product to be a bit dated and primitive. Every time you open the program you have to listen to the same introductory English instructions, which quickly become annoying. The links for the online portion of the lessons seemed to be inactive. The best thing about the software is that it includes interactive exercises, in which you have simulated conversations with screen characters. This stuff is a bit outdated, but I have no trouble using it with Windows XP. Suffice it to say that this software is actually quite good, especially now that it's so cheap. There are a lot of listening activities, vocab, etc. In fact, it's oddly similar to the newer Transparent Language products... hmm.
Anyway, give this program a try - it's a great buy and a lot of fun.
