Rating:  - I loved the book and enjoyed the film, but the acting isn't very good.
In High School I had to read Howard Fast's novel "Freedom Road" and thought it was very good and had me reading it in one setting. I watched the "mini-series" when it came on, and while I enjoyed it I felt the acting wasn't very good and felt that Muhammad Ali wasn't quite ready to be an actor and wasn't the best choice to play in this. Other than the acting(I felt the whole cast wasn't into the movie like they should have been) that this was just fine.

This is the best movie I've ever bought. I definitely recommend you this movie. Muhammad Ali's best movie and a fine performance by Kris Kristofferson
