Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fabulous Musicals of the Fifties
- you can count this one among them. It is worthy of viewing and re-viewing especially since, "Wonder Why" sung superbly by Vic Damone was nominated as Best Song back in '51.

But this one's a-got-to-have IF you're a true Damone fan! As I was way too young to have seen this at its original release in 1951, it was a treat to see Vic at his youngest and in his most debonair role as Frenchman, Andre Milan. I saw this film several years ago, so my memory's a little rusty, but since there are no other reviews for "Rich, Young and Pretty" yet I'd thought I'd give a quick synopsis for those of you just browsing.

Jane Powell stars as a young Texan who is taken to Paris by her father, played by Wendell Corey.
