This movie is so bad that the only redeeming moments are when La Wanda Page (Aunt Esther from "Sanford and Son") is on screen for comic relief. Her one-liners (most of which can't be printed here) are hilarious. Otherwise, this slasher flick has no merit

Your first clue that you've bought a ticket to a turkey is the appearance of Marjoe Gortner, who can't act his way out of cardboard box. The most amazing thing about this piece of cinematic caca is that it ever made its way to VHS. In the first reel of the film, the "heroine" copulates thrice with her spouse and kills two people. Wow. Rating:  - When Horror and Porn Become One
I love bad movies, but for some movies it is still hard to find its redeeming qualities. Mausoleum is one of those movies.
Overall it is pretty bad. The acting is ok, the direction is [bad], and the story line is confusing and full of holes. But I can let all of that go because the lead actress is really hot and likes to get naked....A LOT.

...this film is just a blip on the radar screen. Just a typical 80's flick that doesnt distiguish itself at all. What has always held this film close to my heart is the fact that i saw it as a kid. I love to revisit all the films from my childhood and this is one of them?
Just another chessy 80's horror flick but I guess the thing that I rememebr the most was the lead character seducing the gardener!!
